BTS to Return on April 7 with a New Format for “Run BTS”

BTS is returning with the existing variety show “Run BTS” in a newly updated format. On Monday, the group released a Teaser video showing all seven members discussing new concepts for the variety show, announcing the launch of “Run BTS 2.0.”

The members agreed that a transformation of the program was necessary. RM suggested, “Let’s give ‘Run BTS’ a revamp,” while Suga agreed by saying, “YouTube and the trends in variety shows have changed so much.” The first episode of “Run BTS 2.0” is set to be released on April 7 at 9 p.m.

“Run BTS” has enjoyed fan support since its initial broadcast in 2015. In 2023, the program moved to HYBE, and Jin, who had completed his military service, launched a spin-off series titled “Run Jin” in 2024. “Run Jin” aired its final episode in May 2025.

All episodes can be streamed on Weverse and the BangtanTV YouTube channel. BTS reunited last year after finishing their military service and released their Comeback album “Arirang” earlier this month.
