Katseye Wins Webby Award and People’s Voice Award for GAP Campaign

Katseye received both a Webby Award and a People’s Voice Award at the 2026 Webby Awards for its GAP “Better in Denim” campaign. The Webby Awards is an esteemed ceremony hosted by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, founded in 1996, which recognizes impactful achievements in websites, social media, apps, podcasts, advertising, AI, and online entertainment.

Katseye’s victories came in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and brand entertainment video categories, with this year’s winners including global stars such as Bad Bunny, Lionel Messi, Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, and SZA.

The collaboration between Katseye and GAP was the “Better in Denim” campaign, released in August 2025, and was designed around themes of diversity and individuality. This campaign generated approximately 8 billion impressions and over 400 million views, prompting active participation from the public. Richard Dixon, CEO of GAP, described this campaign as “cultural domination” during the company’s quarterly earnings report, emphasizing a phenomenon where the public actively engages with the message rather than merely watching advertisements.

Katseye achieved notable results on the global stage throughout 2025. It ranked second in the category of popular American musicians on Google’s “Year in Search 2025” and was selected as a trending topic in the United States in YouTube’s “2025 Global Culture & Trends Report.” On TikTok, it was recognized as the top global artist of 2025.

Its latest single, “Pinky Up,” has remained on the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks after reaching No. 72, and it has also stayed on the UK Official Singles Top 100 and Spotify’s weekly Global Top Songs chart for five weeks, currently at No. 50 and No. 83 respectively. Other songs such as “Gnarly,” “Gabriela,” and “Internet Girl” are also receiving positive responses.
