Taeyong and Haechan Deliver 60 Minutes of Dominant Live Performance at Seoul Jazz Festival

Taeyong and Haechan of NCT performed an outstanding live set lasting 60 minutes on stage at the 18th Seoul Jazz Festival 2026, held on May 23 at the KSPO DOME in Seoul’s Olympic Park. Their performance, which combined band-based live playing with a diverse setlist ranging from solo stages to special sub-units, became the highlight of the spring festival.

Haechan opened the show with the jazzy track “Camera Lights,” followed by songs from his debut solo album “TASTE” such as “CRZY,” “Talented,” “Roll With Me,” and “Love Beyond,” showcasing a soothing R&B style. He then delivered covers of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and Michael Jackson’s “Love Never Felt So Good,” captivating the audience with his distinctive gentle vocals.

Taeyong took over with energetic performances starting from “Rock Solid,” continuing with “Just Like What I Did to You,” “TAP,” and “Misfit,” completely dominating the stage. He especially thrilled fans by making the first public appearance of tracks from his first full-length album “WYLD,” released on May 18. After performing “Run” and “Hypnotic,” he concluded with the title track “WYLD,” driving the show to a climax through explosive sound production and relentless performances.

After delivering their solo stages, the two artists surprised the crowd by forming a special sub-unit to perform “PADO,” leading to multiple encore requests and sealing the end of the performance. Following the show, they shared their feelings, saying, “As solo artists, we were happy to enjoy this event with you all at the Seoul Jazz Festival. We will keep bringing you great music in the future.”

This performance served as a platform for Taeyong and Haechan, who have each developed distinct musical styles, to prove their skills as solo artists on a large-scale stage. Their dominant live synergy, as they expanded their individual musical worlds beyond the framework of NCT, generated significant buzz among fans, who responded with comments saying they “shined equally well as soloists and as a unit.”
